Michael Lehr
Senior Hardware Engineer

Mike is SK's talented Senior Hardware Engineer with fifteen years of design experience. He has been responsible for the electronics of a medical product incorporating an infusion pump with a complex pressure-feedback control loop, the controller board for the ground penetrating radar component of an autonomous land mine detection system, and the video genlock circuitry for a high-end computer graphics system.

Prior to joining SK, Mike was the principal designer of an ASIC-based, directional hearing aid based on acoustic beamforming, which was awarded a patent and is currently manufactured by Starkey Laboratories. Mike has also worked for the Federal Systems Division at IBM, the Portable Products Division at Motorola, and the Electrical Engineering Department at Stanford University.

Mike has authored several peer-reviewed papers on adaptive filters and adaptive neural networks.

He is a member of IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers). He holds an FCC General Radiotelephone Operator License with Ship Radar Endorsement.

Mike earned a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Georgia Tech and Master's and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University.
